Founded in 2024, Dāna Education's core work lies in the continuous passion and dedication to provide quality education to our students. Since the military regime took control over the country in Myanmar, the Democracy activists and those who joined the civil disobedience movements had to escape to Thailand to avoid persecution. Many families now live under harsh conditions, engaging in basic labor to survive, While some children are fortunate enough to attend Thai government schools, some others are unable to access formal education due to various barriers. Dāna Education seeks to fill this gap by providing essential support in several areas: Social and Emotional Support, Conversational English Program, and Arts and Sports.

Social and Emotional Support: Recognizing the trauma and stress these children may carry due to displacement, Dāna Education offers programs designed to help them process their experiences and build resilience. This includes counseling services and emotional development activities.

Conversational English Program: With language being a significant barrier to integration and success, Dāna Education runs English language programs focusing on conversational skills. This helps the children communicate more effectively in their new environments, especially in Thai schools or community settings.

Arts and Sports: In addition to academic support, Dāna Education emphasizes creative and physical outlets for children, such as arts and sports programs. These activities not only provide a sense of normalcy but also promote teamwork, self-expression, and confidence.

Computer Program: In today’s digital age, technology skills are essential for success. Dāna Education offers computer literacy programs to help children gain valuable technical skills. This program includes basic computer use, and digital communication, empowering the children to be more knowable and confident in a technology-driven world.
By addressing the multifaceted needs of these children, Dāna Education aims to give them a brighter future, equipping them with the skills, emotional strength, and opportunities to thrive in their new lives in Thailand.

At Dāna Education, we value transparency and accountability in all our work. We are open and honest about the funds we receive annually to show our donors, supporters, volunteers, staff, and wider community how contributions are used. Each year, we publish our Financial Report to clearly demonstrate where donations are invested and how funds are planned to achieve our mission.

In 2025, Dāna Education generated 475,585 THB through diverse funding sources, including online donations, fundraising initiatives, parental contributions, volunteer donations, and carryover funds from the previous year. This balanced funding structure reflects strong community trust and collective support, helping sustain educational programs and expand outreach across Thailand and Laos.
A total of 347,790 THB was spent in 2025 to support Dāna Education’s programs and operations. Major expenses included learning events and celebrations, utility and center operation costs, urgent humanitarian aid, learning supplies, and essential administrative expenses. All spending was directly aligned with ensuring program continuity, student well-being, and effective service delivery.

In 2025, Dāna Education received a total of 437,288 THB over a 12-month period. During the same year, 347,790 THB was carefully allocated to program delivery, humanitarian support, operations, and community activities. At the end of the year, 89,498 THB remained as carryover funds for 2026 planning and sustainability.
