As the International College at Chiang Mai Rajabhat University celebrated its Graduation Ceremony, a special collaboration between HUG IC and the Dāna Education Club brought extra color, warmth, and energy to the event. With a booth filled with delicious food, handcrafted gifts, and heartfelt smiles, the student-led team made this year’s graduation celebration truly unforgettable.
The booth quickly became a favorite spot among visitors and graduates. Serving freshly prepared tea leaf salad—a beloved traditional dish from Myanmar; students combined cultural flavor with teamwork and joy. The dish, made from fermented tea leaves, nuts, tomatoes, and cabbage, symbolized the fusion of taste, tradition, and friendship. Each plate reflected the effort and unity of the volunteers who worked tirelessly to share their culture with others.
Alongside the food corner, another highlight of the booth was the handcrafted graduation keychains and congratulatory cards. Each keychain, shaped like a graduation cap, came with a meaningful message: “Success is delivered to the deserving.” Visitors were invited to purchase these items as thoughtful graduation gifts for friends and loved ones, creating a perfect balance of purpose and creativity.
Behind the scenes, the booth was powered by enthusiastic members of Dāna Education and HUG IC, who spent days planning, preparing, and setting up decorations, including colorful paper cranes symbolizing peace and good wishes for the graduates. The smiles and teamwork among members reflected the shared values of both organizations, education, compassion, and community service.
The event was not just about selling food or gifts. Tt was about connection. Every interaction, every shared bite, and every message written on a card represented the essence of Dāna Education’s mission: to foster learning with kindness and unity. The success of the booth also showed the growing collaboration between IC-CMRU students who believe that education should go beyond classrooms and inspire real-world experiences.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the HUG IC management team and the International Dean Head Officer for visiting and supporting our booth. Your encouragement and presence truly meant a lot to the students and made this collaboration even more meaningful.
As the day came to a close, the HUG IC x Dāna Education booth left a lasting impression on everyone who stopped by. Through food, creativity, and teamwork, the students celebrated not only graduation but also the spirit of giving, sharing, and community.
