A Day of Clay, Creativity, and Community

We are incredibly grateful to our good friend Bu and the entire team at Mitt Studio for opening their doors and hearts to the children of Dāna Education. This special workshop was more than just a lesson in pottery, it was a chance for our students to explore creativity, connect with one another, and express themselves through the beauty of handmade art.

From shaping cups and plates to crafting clay baskets and even molding the Dāna Education sign with mud, our children had a hands-on opportunity to experience the full process of pottery-making. For many of our students, this was their first time working with clay, and the joy and pride they felt seeing their creations come to life was truly heartwarming.

Bu and her team didn’t just teach, they inspired. They patiently guided our students through each step, encouraging them to explore, take risks, and most importantly, to have fun. It was a deeply meaningful day filled with laughter, learning, and lots of muddy hands!

Workshops like these remind us of the power of art in building confidence and offering new perspectives. Thank you, Mitt Pottery Studio, for showing our children that their hands can create beauty, their ideas have value, and their imagination is something to be celebrated.
