Podcast Conversation Club: Empowering Lao Youth Through Dialogue đď¸â¨

From August 19th â 23rd, 2025, DÄna Education Laos, Changnoy, and Core-talk Club proudly co-hosted a 5-day Podcast Conversation Club at the American Center Vientiane. The program was designed to empower Lao youth to strengthen their English communication, critical thinking, and self-expression through podcast-inspired discussions and interactive activities.
Over the five days, participants explored global themes while gaining a safe and engaging space to practice speaking, connect with others, and reflect on personal growth. More than 200 enthusiastic participants joined us, leaving with not only improved English skills but also deeper confidence in their voices.
đ Day 1: History Day
The club began with History Day, where our team presented stories about American history. Participants were encouraged to share their own opinions, sparking critical thinking and fresh perspectives.
đŹđ§ Day 2: English Day
On English Day, we explored the importance of learning English and shared personal language learning journeys. With engaging activities and group sharing, participants built confidence while having fun.
đą Days 3 & 4: Self-Improvement Days
These two days focused on personal growth and self-discovery. Participants shared their own life stories, challenges, and achievements. It was inspiring to see young people supporting, encouraging, and motivating one another while strengthening their public speaking and empathy.
đŹ Day 5: Science Day
The club concluded with Science Day, where participants learned how science connects to our everyday lives. Through a creative activity, they stretched their imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
The heartfelt feedback we received reflected how much the participants valued this opportunity to learn, grow, and express themselves. đ
