"No Poverty" as ensuring that everyone, everywhere, has access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, safe housing, and education. SDG 2: What is Zero Hunger?
"Zero Hunger" doesn't mean everyone eating fancy meals, but rather ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry and that everyone has access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy, active life. In Yemen millions face severe food insecurity and high rates of malnutrition, particularly among children. The primary causes of hunger in Yemen include conflict and instability, poverty and unemployment, climate change (causing droughts and floods), and limited access to farmland and clean water. SDG 3: What is Good Health and Well-being?
"Good Health and Well-being" Is not about the absence of illness but about ensuring everyone everywhere has access to the healthcare, support, and resources needed for a long, healthy, and fulfilling life. There is a significant disparity in healthcare access. In low-income countries, millions lack basic services due to a shortage of doctors, hospitals, and affordable medicine.
